Biography
| Achilleas Gatsopoulos was born in Athens on December 1980, 8 minutes before his twin sister Kelly. After attending a fine arts free hand drawing workshop, he moved to England to study Animation / Post Production and Production Design for Film and TV. From 2000 to 2001 he was working for the famous UFA Babelsberg Studios of Berlin, where came to appreciate and love German expressionism. He concluded his studies with distinction in both his degrees and since then he lives and works in London, missing terribly his cat Tsatsoutis. Except from his personal animations and short films, he has also worked in British TV productions (BBC, ITV), as well as in feature films, like Harry Potter III and the most recent Tim Burton’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He has also directed and produced a few music videos, that have been aired worldwide, including MTV. |
